Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)
This permanent position is based near Paris.
Your Tasks
- Defining the company's strategy and purchasing policy
- Collect and analyse the needs of various business departments relating to purchasing
- Supplier sourcing and evaluation
- Permanent audit of the supplier panel, according to the set objectives
- Management and animation of the supplier panel
- Implement procedures, methodologies, and tools for improving the overall performance of the purchasing department
- Manage Regional Sourcing Directors in America, Europe and Asia
- Set and monitor performance indicators, both quantitative and qualitative, to improve sourcing metrics
- Report KPI dashboard to management
- Reporting to the Group's Chief Operating Officer
Your Profile
- 7+ years of professional experience in a similar role in the chemical or industrial (automotive) sector
- Experienced in an international working environment
- Ability to travel and work with colleagues in multiple countries
- Strong own initiative and autonomy
- Leadership and strong negotiating skills
- Degree in the field of Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
- Proficiency in German and Business English; French is desirable
